About
British frontend developer building interactive, animated web experiences using React, Next.js, Three.js and modern motion systems.
A little about me
I've always been drawn to the part of frontend development where design and engineering overlap. The details that change how a site feels — movement, pacing, typography and interaction — are often the things I enjoy working on most.
My approach is to keep the foundation technically solid while pushing the experience beyond a conventional interface. That might mean subtle motion and interaction, or a fully immersive WebGL environment where the project calls for it.
I enjoy working closely with designers and turning static ideas into experiences that respond, move and behave naturally in the browser.
What I do
Building robust and responsive interfaces with a strong focus on detail, performance and maintainability.
Creating immersive experiences that combine traditional frontend development with realtime graphics.
Using movement and interaction to give interfaces hierarchy, character and a stronger sense of response.
How I like to work
The best frontend work happens when implementation is considered as part of the design process, rather than something that happens afterwards.
Animation should guide attention, establish hierarchy and give an interface character — without getting in the way of the experience.
Rich visuals aren't worth much if they compromise usability. I aim to balance technical ambition with a site that remains fast and responsive.

Away from code
When I am not building things for the web, I am usually playing poker, trading or watching various sports. I enjoy the nomadic lifestyle and have lived in Australia, Malta and the Philippines.
